The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Vehicular Accident that occurred at 8:28pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in Hewlett.
According to Detectives, the female operator, 49, of a black colored 2020 Range Rover was traveling northbound on Franklin Avenue and a male juvenile, 16, was operating his bicycle westbound on Station Plaza towards Franklin Avenue when a collision occurred.
The male victim cyclist suffered a broken arm, and multiple lacerations and bruises about his arms, legs and head.
The victim was transported via Police Helicopter to Cohens Children’s Hospital for evaluation and treatment of his injuries. He is currently listed in stable condition. The driver remained on scene.
There was no criminality that attributed to this accident.
