In honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) introduced his Praise Our Police (POP) program to local school districts in the 19th Assembly District. This program provided students with an opportunity to express their gratitude and appreciation to law enforcement officers.
Students created banners, posters and handmade cards that were delivered to law enforcement agencies, including Nassau County police precincts, MTA Police, NYS Troopers, US Customs & Border Protection, Nassau County Sheriffs and Corrections and NYS Court Officers.

- East Meadow High School-East Meadow
“It’s great to see our local school districts proudly supporting our wonderful men and women in uniform. With all our police officers go through on a daily basis, it’s heartwarming to see our children showing support for those who protect us and keep us safe,” said Ra.
