Port Jeff’s Ecolin Jewelers Reopens in Stony Brook Village

Share

Formerly in Port Jefferson since 1979, the jewelry store has finally reopened its doors in new location.

What’s old is new again. Ecolin Jewelers had its beginnings in Stony Brook over 50 years ago and after decades in Port Jefferson Village, the store relocated back to its old stomping grounds.

Last year, Ecolin Jewelers celebrated its 50th anniversary but they vacated their unique lighthouse-shaped store at 14 East Broadway across from the harbor in Port Jefferson where they had been since 1979. Ecolin closed its doors at the end of 2021.

But the jewelry store that many consider a gem on the North Shore is back. Ecolin Jewelers took over the spot where Anthony BonGiovanni, owner of Rocky Point Jewelers West, had been in Stony Brook Village. According to a post on Facebook, Rocky Point Jewelers will stay in business as they consolidate to their Rocky Point store.

Ecolin is now open for business at 137 Main Street in Stony Brook Village.
