A 7-Eleven has made one lucky Long Islander over $30,000 richer after they purchased a winning lottery ticket at the East Islip-based convenience store last week.
According to New York State Lottery officials, the top prize-winning TAKE 5 ticket for the drawing held on July 8 is worth a cool $32,341 to whoever has the ticket in their possession.
The winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 197 Montauk Highway, and whoever hit it big with their drawing has up to one year to claim their winnings.
