Uniondale Woman Arrested After Beating Victim with Brass Knuckles Before Slashing Them with a Knife, Cops Say

The First Squad reports the arrest of a Uniondale woman for an assault that occurred on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 7:20 PM in Uniondale.
According to Detectives, defendant Armanda Valles, 30, of 312 Hawthorne Avenue, was in a verbal argument in front of her residence with a 19-year-old female victim. The defendant began to strike the victim in the legs with brass knuckles. When the victim tried to run away, the defendant took out a knife and slashed the victim in the leg below the knee.
The defendant then fled from the scene on foot.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition. After a thorough investigation, defendant Armanda Valles was located near the intersection of Hawthorne Avenue and Front Street and placed under arrest without further incident.
Defendant Armanda Valles is charged with two counts of Assault 2nd Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a weapon 4th Degree. She will be arraigned on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 in First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
