Jeffrey Duval of Branford, Connecticut hit it big when he purchased a New York Lottery scratch-off card while visiting the Empite State on Tuesday, March 28.
Duval bought a Multiplier Money ticket from Cumberland Farms in Saratoga County, New York, and after scratching off the ticket, discovered that he had won the grand price of a cool $1,000,000, NY Lottery officials confirmed.
Duval opted to receive the winnings in one lump sum, which – after taxes – came to $546,840.
