Although we’ve all been glued to Election news this week, these numbers are a sober reminder that the pandemic isn’t over – and it could still get worse,” she said. “Nassau County will continue to proactively respond to micro-spikes wherever they may pop up, and on Monday we’ll be announcing expanded rapid testing in Great Neck.”

The key to our success in keeping the virus under control has been working closely with every community to ensure health and safety guidance is being followed,” Curran continued. “I’m confident that if continue working together and sticking to what we know works — like wearing a mask, social distancing and avoiding large crowds — Nassau will weather this storm.”
