Molloy College Announces Tuition Freeze For 2020-2021 Academic Year

Share

– John P. McEntee, Chair of the Molloy College Board of Trustees, announced today that the College will freeze its tuition for the upcoming 2020-2021 academic year for both undergraduate and graduate students, as part of Molloy’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Students and their families have been severely impacted by the virus, including financially,” said McEntee.  “The Board recognizes that and is taking this unprecedented step to help make a Molloy education as affordable as possible.”

In addition to freezing tuition, Molloy has already refunded approximately $1 million to students in meal plans, fees and other expenses as a result of the closure of the Rockville Centre campus earlier this year. The College is also working on a plan to provide an academic experience for the fall that allows students to continue their education and not be delayed in their journey toward graduation.

“Molloy continues to focus on helping our students achieve their academic goals,” said Dr. Drew Bogner, President of Molloy College. “Today’s decision is an affirmation of that important principle.”

Molloy College, an independent Catholic college based in Rockville Centre, was founded in 1955 by the Sisters of Saint Dominic in Amityville, NY. The College serves a student population of approximately 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students.  Molloy students can earn degrees in a variety of outstanding academic programs, including nursing, business, education, social work, music therapy, computer studies and many more.
